"happening now starts right now. >> jon: "happening now" begins with this fox news alert, a horrific story unfolding in the netherlands, brand new video of a soccer stadium collapse in a dutch city, at least 12 injured, one dead, and an unknown number of people still trapped. rick folbaum is on it from the breaking news desk. >> reporter: rescue workers are on the scene trying to reach those people still trapped in the rubble of this soccer stadium. part of the stadium's roof collapsed and while it was being constructed upon they were doing off season construction work. thankfully no gale underway or this place would have been packed with athletes and fans and as you can see from some of the pictures we've gotten the roof came crashing down on to the seats, where the spectators would have been had they been there for a soccer match. those trapped are believed to be construction workers who were there doing this work, it happened in the city about 100 miles or so from amsterdam. we're told that the work on this stadium was to expand it, to make it bigger. we've also gotten

as well. tim pawlenty, 3%. jon huntsman, who has staked a lot of his campaign on winning new hampshire and had this big rollout with a lot of media coverage, only at 2% at this point. he is right there with herman cain and newt gingrich. surprising numbers there and very good numbers for mitt romney. we mentioned in that poll there, tim pawlenty, he also is not doing very well in that poll. he is hoping, obviously, to win iowa where is he staking all of his campaign and brought what is basically a pretty good political young gun on his squad, sarah huckabee sanders, the doubt of mike huckabee, who won the iowa caucuses back in 2008, she has joined his campaign. so you can say that tim pawlenty is looking for some huck luck. and sarah huckabee was a big part of the huckabee campaign and will be a big part of pawlenty's campaign. if pawlenty will do well in iowa, sarah huckabee will be a big bet to help him because right now, he needs all of the help he can get. >> jim acosta, thanks. your next political update in an hour. always get all of the political news 24/7 at cnn/politics.com. >>

the under belly of the plain. jon: thank you for joining us today. patti ann: i'm patti ann brown. >> reporter: getting brand-new reaction from the white house regarding very harsh criticism over their most recent stimulus report, good afternoon, everybody, i'm martha maccallum in for megyn kelly. the report was dropped late friday, right on the c, sp of the long holiday weekend and it found the massive stimulus program saved or created about 2.4 million jobs roughly overall. that is at a cost of $666 billion to american maximum payers. so that comes down to a whooping $278,000 per job. the white house says that they disagree with those numbers. mike emanuel is live at the white house with more on this to help us work this all out. good afternoon, mike. >> reporter: good afternoon, martha. critics of the stimulus package say the taxpayers did not get what they paid for at a price tag of $278,000 per job. the white house says that number is misleading. president obama signed the stimulus package into law on february 17th, 2009, less than a month after taking office. the $787 billio
